Performance foundation for AMD Ryzen processors
The board supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors via the AM5 socket. At the heart of the platform is the AMD X870E chipset which, combined with a sophisticated power architecture, creates a reliable foundation for demanding applications and games. The power delivery system uses 5K Black Metallic capacitors for efficient power transfer to the processor. The ATX format (30.5×24.4cm) offers plenty of space for large components and complex cooling, which you can connect to a set of headers for CPU fans, an AIO pump and five system fans.
Memory and storage speed
For system memory, it provides four DIMM slots for DDR5 modules, supporting a total capacity of up to 256GB. The board works with memory overclocking up to 8000+ MT/s (OC) and uses reinforced SafeDIMM slots. For ultra-fast data storage, it offers four M.2 slots, two of which support the PCIe 5.0 ×4 interface for Ryzen 9000 and 7000 series processors. Two more M.2 slots and four SATA III ports expand the storage options. AMD RAIDXpert2 technology is used to configure RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 arrays, depending on the processor used.
Expansion slots and connectivity
For the graphics card, it provides a primary PCIe 5.0 ×16 slot with SafeSlot metal reinforcement, which protects the slot from damage by heavy cards. You can install other expansion cards in the two PCIe 4.0 ×16 slots. The rear panel contains a rich set of ports, including two universal USB4 ports with 40Gb/s speeds and DisplayPort 1.4a video output support. You will also find four USB 10Gb/s ports, one of which uses a USB-C connector and supports 30W fast charging (PD/PPS). Six USB 5Gb/s ports and two USB 2.0 ports are available for other peripherals.
Networking, audio and easy-assembly features
Network connectivity is handled by fast 5Gb Ethernet from Realtek and a wireless module with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The new Q-Antenna ensures easy connection. Sound is handled by the Realtek ALC1220P codec with a 120dB signal-to-noise ratio during playback, complemented by a Savitech SV3H712 amplifier for headphones. Building and maintaining your PC is simplified by Q-Design features such as M.2 Q-Latch for screwless drive installation and the PCIe Slot Q-Release button for easy graphics card removal. System diagnostics are made easier with Q-LEDs and BIOS FlashBack and Clear CMOS buttons.
