Performance and power for the most demanding processors
The motherboard uses a direct 10+1+1+1 Duet Rail Power System with digital voltage regulation, which ensures a stable power supply for Intel Core Ultra processors. Each Vcore phase is fitted with 110A Smart Power Stage components, while separate phases supply power to the SA, GT, and VNNAON circuits. The 14-layer server-grade PCB, reinforced with copper, guarantees reliable signal transfers even at high frequencies. A solid pin design on the 8-pin and 24-pin power connectors provides a larger contact area and low impedance for a stable current supply.
Memory support and overclocking potential
The board offers two DDR5 slots with a maximum capacity of 128GB, supporting memory speeds of 8600+ MT/s when overclocking. Support for Intel XMP 3.0 profiles makes overclocking compatible memory simple. Memory Extension Mode provides optimised parameters for lower latency and higher performance at the same frequency, and can be combined with XMP profiles to maximise memory potential.
Cutting-edge connectivity and expandability
The motherboard has a single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot with a throughput of up to 128GB/s, which uses SMT (Surface Mount Technology) to minimise interference and electrical noise. The slot is also reinforced with an MSI Steel Armor construction with additional soldering points to securely hold heavy graphics cards. Four M.2 slots offer plenty of space for fast storage – the first slot supports PCIe 5.0 x4, the second PCIe 4.0 x4 from the CPU, the third PCIe 4.0 x4/SATA from the chipset, and the fourth PCIe 4.0 x4 from the chipset. The M.2 Shield Frozr with its patented screwless design ensures efficient cooling for SSDs and prevents thermal throttling.
Thunderbolt 4 and premium networking solutions
Two Thunderbolt 4 ports on the rear panel offer transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps with Thunderbolt devices, 20Gbps with USB4 devices, and 10Gbps with USB 3.2 devices. Each port supports 5V/3A (15W) power delivery and enables daisy-chaining of up to three Thunderbolt 4 devices or five Thunderbolt 3 devices. The ports also function as DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20 via USB Type-C with resolutions up to 4K 120Hz or 8K 60Hz. The Intel Killer E5000B 5G LAN provides a high-speed wired connection, while the Intel Killer BE1750x Wi-Fi 7 module delivers wireless connectivity with speeds of up to 5.8Gbps. The Intel Killer Performance Suite automatically detects application priority, analyses and manages bandwidth autonomously, and intelligently selects the best access point. The EZ Antenna with its magnetic stand makes installation easy without rotating the connectors.
Advanced Frozr Design cooling
An extended heatsink with interconnected heat pipes joins two MOS cooling blocks, significantly increasing the surface area for heat dissipation. An active Frozr cooler above the VRM ensures efficient cooling of the power circuits during demanding tasks. The MOSFET Baseplate on the underside of the board dissipates heat from the power transistors and ensures better thermal management. 7W/mK thermal pads on the MOSFETs and chokes guarantee that all processor cores run at full performance without throttling. The Cooling Wizard provides comprehensive management of all fans, with support for PWM/DC modes, custom curves, and temperature monitoring.
