The legendary performance of the new Mac Studio is powered by Apple's 5nm M1 Ultra chip. It's a combination of a 20-core CPU with a 48-core GPU. In every conceivable task, this chip is many times more powerful than M1 or its competitors.
Mac Studio obviously works with any monitor, but you'll have the best experience with the separately sold Studio Display. It's a premium 5K screen with great colour reproduction, a built-in wide-angle camera and high-quality speakers. You can connect up to four of these 5K displays plus one 4K TV.

On the back of the Mac Studio, there are four Thunderbolt 4 ports for connecting displays and many other devices. Also take note of the 10Gb Ethernet, two USB-A ports (speeds up to 5 Gbps), HDMI, and a premium audio jack for high-impedance headphones or external amplified speakers. On the front, you have quick access to a pair of USB-C ports and a memory card slot.
Built from a single aluminium extrusion, the Mac Studio has a square footprint of just 197mm and a height of 95mm, so it takes up very little space and fits perfectly under most monitors.
With macOS Monterey, you get access to all-new features. Whether it's even better privacy protection or the new Universal Control or Focus mode. Overall, it's the most secure system you can get and it also protects your privacy.
