The 16+2+1 power system with 80A power stages integrates high-side and low-side MOSFETs and drivers into packages rated for up to 80A per phase, ensuring optimal power delivery, efficiency and stability for AMD processors. The eight-layer PCB quickly dissipates heat from around the voltage regulators, improving overall system stability and giving the processor more overclocking headroom. The proprietary 8+8pin ProCool connectors are built to strict specifications to ensure full contact with the power supply cables, and their lower impedance helps prevent hotspots and connector failure. TUF chokes and TUF 5K capacitors offer a 52% wider temperature tolerance and 2.5× longer lifespan compared to standard capacitors. The integrated Digi+ VRM module provides fine-tuned and clean power delivery to the processor at all times.
AI technologies
AI Cache Boost optimises the processor cache and memory pathways for up to 29% faster local LLM performance when using a Ryzen 9000 Series CPU with high-speed memory tuning. AI Advisor acts as a technical expert available to answer hardware-related questions using natural language. AI Overclocking maximises CPU performance and predicts the ideal settings for the processor and cooling, while AI Cooling II dynamically adjusts fan speeds based on CPU temperatures for optimal thermal management and reduced noise. AI Networking II optimises network performance and helps ensure a seamless connection with maximum WiFi 7 speeds.
Advanced overclocking technologies
Dynamic OC Switcher automatically switches between manual overclocking for demanding multi-threaded tasks and Precision Boost Overdrive for single-threaded operations, based on set temperature and current thresholds. Core Flex enables advanced control over processor performance by setting breakpoints to gradually reduce core frequency as temperature or current rises.
Memory and storage
The board supports DDR5 memory overclocking with extended support for AMD EXPO profiles. ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) automatically detects memory chips and presents optimised frequency, timing and voltage profiles for PMIC-restricted modules. DIMM Fit analyses individual memory modules to optimise performance and identify potential issues, while DIMM Fit Pro gives advanced PC builders control of up to twenty overclocking parameters, with options to define testing ranges and prioritise stability or performance. Enlarged VRM heatsinks dissipate heat from the power delivery components, while Smart Fan Protect shields fans from damage under heavy loads. Four 4-pin PWM fan headers, along with a dedicated AIO pump header, enable comprehensive cooling management with support for multiple temperature sources for precise regulation. The board is compatible with ASUS AIO water coolers, offering robust performance, high overclocking potential and customisable functionality. The superior PCH heatsink ensures stable chipset temperatures even under sustained load, while multiple temperature sensors provide detailed information for automatically optimising fan curves.

The PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlot with steel reinforcement offers double the data speed of PCIe 4.0, with an aggregated bandwidth of 512Gbps and backwards compatibility with previous versions. Two USB4 40Gbps Type-C ports provide bidirectional bandwidth of up to 40Gbps with the ability to connect two external 4K displays. The front USB 20Gbps Type-C connector supports Power Delivery 3.0 technology with fast charging up to 30W. WiFi 7 ensures a stable, low-latency connection, and the ASUS WiFi Q-Antenna provides up to 18% stronger wireless signal reception compared to the previous generation. The onboard 2.5Gb Ethernet improves bandwidth speeds by up to 2.5× over 1Gb connections. TUF LANGuard integrates advanced signal-coupling technology and premium capacitors to protect against lightning strikes and static electricity, with 2.5× higher surge tolerance than standard LAN ports.
DIY-friendly features for easy assembly
PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim automatically releases the graphics card with a simple tilt towards the latch mechanism, no buttons required. The Q-Antenna ensures quick and easy installation of the WiFi antenna using a snap-in mechanism. M.2 Q-Latch eliminates the need for tools or screws when installing or removing an M.2 SSD, using a simple locking mechanism. Q-LED indicators provide quick diagnostics of key components during system startup. BIOS FlashBack lets you update the BIOS without a CPU or memory installed, using just a USB flash drive.
Protective features
SafeSlot with steel reinforcement keeps the card firmly installed and ensures the highest possible data speeds, while the SafeDIMM protective shroud shields memory modules. ESD Guard TVS diodes increase protection against electrostatic discharge to +/- 10kV for air discharge and +/- 6kV for contact discharge. The stainless steel rear I/O panel with a corrosion-resistant coating passes a strict 72-hour salt spray test, offering up to 3× longer lifespan.
