How does a wireless connection work?

Europe uses Z-Wave wireless transmission at 868.42 MHz. It is therefore resistant to WiFi interference at 2.4 and 5 GHz, as well as microwave and other devices. The standard range of the control unit is 100 meters outdoors and 50 meters inside the building. However, as the mesh network topology is used, individual devices also transmit signals to each other and thus increase the range - the more devices you have, the longer your range. In terms of impacts on the human body, minimal radiation is also important. Z-Wave products have 4000× lower radiation compared to mobile phones .
