For children in elementary school, cheap calculators with the most common functions - classical or basic calculators - are ideal for solving simple mathematical problems.

For students of secondary and higher education, scientific calculators are more suitable. They contain all the various functions that students use over the years. More demanding graphical calculators may be required by students of science or those with a technical, economical or mathematical focus.

If you need a calculator for work that can handle normal calculations, you can use a desktop calculator. More demanding users - experts in technical or economic fields - will appreciate graphical or programmable calculators that can handle scientific calculations. These, however, come with a much higher price tag.

Choose a Calculator By Type

Scientific Calculators

Scientific calculators will be used mainly by secondary and university students, with their ability to perform more complex calculations. It can handle very demanding statistical calculations and allow you to transfer data to your computer.

Desktop Calculators

Desktop calculators are among the most widespread, especially for elementary school pupils. Many people use them at home or at work. In addition to basic calculations, they can handle rootstocks, percentages, and even taxes.

Pocket Calculators

Pocket calculators are suitable for households and for travel or business trips - features are limited, but the compact dimensions make them portable. They are powered by solar or battery power, and because they mostly only handle simple mathematical calculations, they are often being replaced by mobile phones.

Printing Calculators

This type of calculator is not so common today, especially after the introduction of the EET. Previously, they were part of every trade, craft, and many smaller businesses.
