Reverse design of the Corsair iCUE LINK LX120-R fans
The fan blades have a reverse design, which keeps the backlighting fully visible even when mounted for air intake into the case. Each fan carries a total of 18 individually addressable RGB LEDs, arranged in two separate light loops for smooth colour transitions. In addition, the iCUE software provides access to a special Time Warp lighting mode, creating impressive optical illusions.
Performance and quiet operation
The fans operate over a wide speed range from 400 to 2400RPM with PWM control, which automatically adjusts cooling performance to the current component temperature. The Magnetic Dome bearing reduces friction and operational vibrations, contributing to quiet operation with a noise level from 10 to 38dBA. Even at high speeds, they remain refined and deliver an airflow of up to 66.7CFM. The set includes an iCUE LINK System Hub, which serves as a central point for connecting and controlling all the fans. This system reduces the number of cables required and simplifies the overall assembly. Special Corsair QuikTurn screws are used to fasten the fans into the PC case, which tighten with a single quick turn, shortening the installation time.
