AEMP and overclocking performance
ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) automatically detects the memory chips in your kit and then displays optimised frequency, timing, and voltage profiles that you can quickly apply. This motherboard also features a single PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, enabling data transfers at speeds of up to 128Gb/s. All M.2 slots support NVMe RAID configurations. Integrated AIO system management provides complete control over PWM or DC water pumps. The extensive surface area of this heatsink covers the MOSFETs and chokes to improve cooling performance. The chipset heatsink's surface area enhances system performance and heat dissipation. Each header can dynamically reference three thermal sensors. A dedicated integrated circuit protects each fan header from overheating and overcurrent. All onboard fan headers support auto-detection of PWM or DC fans.
Enhanced connectivity
This motherboard offers versatile connectivity options with PCIe 5.0 connectors, a rear USB 10Gb/s Type-C® port, and a front USB 5Gb/s Type-C® connector. The PCIe 5.0 standard offers twice the data transfer speed of PCIe 4.0. PCIe 5.0 also brings other benefits, such as electrical changes to improve signal integrity, backwards-compatible CEM connectors for add-in cards, and backwards compatibility with previous PCIe versions. Extensive USB support ensures connectivity to a wide range of external devices.

A physical lever unlocks the first PCIe slot's security latch with a single touch, simplifying the process of detaching a PCIe card from the motherboard. The ASUS Q-Latch system uses a simple locking mechanism to secure the drive and elegantly disconnects it with a single tap. The integrated SafeDIMM cover protects the memory modules and enables fast, accurate and reliable insertion. Special TVS diodes enhance protection against electrostatic discharge by up to +/- 10kV for air discharge and +/- 6kV for contact discharge. TUF LANGuard integrates advanced signal-coupling technology and surface-mounted capacitors to improve throughput and help protect the motherboard from lightning strikes and static electricity.
