The BIOS FlashBack™ feature then provides an easy and safe way to update the BIOS (UEFI) via a USB drive, even without memory or a CPU installed.
Protection and durability with SafeSlot Core+ and power
SafeSlot Core+ is an ASUS-exclusive PCIe slot, which is fortified with stainless steel to protect the slot from damage. The metal cover is securely attached to the slot with hooks, and the entire assembly is firmly anchored to the PCB with reinforced solder points, providing a secure foundation for heavy graphics cards. Metal inserts ensure proper card alignment during installation, and side panels with hooks hold the slot body firmly. In addition, the motherboard is protected against overvoltage thanks to its design with built-in voltage regulators that prevent damage caused by high voltage from unstable power supplies.
