The board uses an optimised VRM layout with a 16+1+1+1+1 power phase configuration, ensuring a smooth power supply to the processor even under heavy loads. Dr.MOS technology integrates power components into a single solution, which delivers higher current and improves the thermal properties of the entire system. Durable 1000µF capacitors provide a larger charge reservoir to support high loads, reducing voltage ripple and stabilising the output current. Hi-Density power connectors are designed for higher current loads than standard connectors, increasing system stability, especially when overclocking. The dual-layer copper PCB ensures stable signal paths and power planes, contributing to lower temperatures and higher energy efficiency.
Memory support and modern storage
Four DDR5 slots support both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles for easy memory overclocking to frequencies exceeding 9066MHz. The Memory OC Shield reduces electromagnetic interference and optimises the layout for better performance at high frequencies. For storage, the board is equipped with one Blazing M.2 slot supporting PCIe Gen5 x4, which achieves transfer speeds of up to 128Gb/s and is ready for fast SSDs. Three additional Hyper M.2 slots support the PCIe Gen4 x4 standard, with one also being compatible with SATA III. All M.2 slots are equipped with bottom heatsinks that efficiently dissipate heat through the PCB and maintain optimal temperatures.
Cooling and thermal management
An intelligent cooling system with aluminium heatsinks covers key areas of the board, ensuring efficient heat dissipation, especially during demanding tasks. The fan connectors automatically detect whether they are operating in DC or PWM mode, which enables fine-tuning of their speeds using the Fan-Tastic Tuning function. Reinforced PCIe 5.0 slots with a steel frame ensure the stability of heavy graphics cards.
