A single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot implements an SMT design, which improves signal throughput and maximises stability at high speeds with a bandwidth of 128GB/s. The storage subsystem offers two Hyper M.2 sockets – M2_1 (type 2280) supporting PCIe Gen4 x4 mode, and M2_2 (type 2280) with combined support for both SATA3 6.0Gb/s and PCIe Gen4 x4 modes. Both slots support Intel Volume Management Device (VMD) and NVMe SSDs as boot drives. Four SATA III 6.0Gb/s connectors complete the storage options with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 configurations.
Connectivity and advanced features
Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) technology expands the available frequency band to include the 6GHz spectrum, thereby increasing wireless network capacity and reducing connection latency. The board is equipped with an eDP connector that allows simultaneous image and power transmission and is compatible with the ASRock 13.3" Side Panel Kit. The Auto Driver Installer feature ensures automatic installation of network drivers without needing an optical drive.
