Even though the new processors in the AMD Ryzen 2000 series look similar to the first generation, the motherboards have undergone a comprehensive overhaul. For example, there is an upgraded power supply system and support for faster operating memories. Last but not least, the AMD X470 chipset ensures trouble-free operation with XFR2 Extended and Precision Boost 2 Overdrive. The Raven Ridge series processors will be able to operate for longer at higher frequencies.
Motherboard for Demanding Players
Use the PCI Express 3.0 slots to plug in graphics cards. When connecting cards in AMD CrossFireX or NVIDIA SLI mode, you can enjoy quality resolution for the latest games at full speed. MSI Steel Armor features more soldered points to guarantee greater durability while simultaneously protecting against electromagnetic interference for a carefree gaming experience.
If you expect maximum speeds from your SSDs, connect them to either one or two M2 slots on the motherboard. External drives will experience high transmission speeds due to the presence of the second-generation USB 3.1, which boasts tremendous acceleration compared to the 2.0 generation. The required files are transferred up to 20 times faster. There is also a modern USB Type C connector.
The MSI Motherboard is Certified for Game Deployment
Each motherboard is subjected to over 24 hours of testing, during which both online and offline games are played. At the end of testing, the developers of the motherboards are confident that network configuration, audience reception and overall performance are tuned to perfection, so you can enjoy the best gaming experience. The certificate is only granted to the motherboards that successfully pass testing. Only then can they be part of the MSI Gaming series.
