The Intel NUC Kit 7i5BNK miniature computer is a compact and attractive system measuring 11.5 x 11cm. Despite its compact size, it has some hidden surprises. It can be used to browse the internet, play multimedia content and handle less demanding games. It is a versatile multimedia centre with good connectivity. It is possible to hide unsigtly cabling by using the VESA brackets at the back of your monitor, ensuring your miniature device will look as good as it possibly can.
The Intel NUC 7i7BNKQ (The Next Unit of Computing) is powered by the powerful and very cost-effective Intel Core i7 7567U processor, the latest Kaby Lake architecture. Playing movies, viewing photos, or doing everyday activities is absolutely seamless. Even its maximum power consumption does not exceed 28W, so there is no excess waste heat, which means the cooling system is extremely quiet. The processor supports Hyper-Threading technology that allows it to function as if it were quad-core, and the graphics are taken care of by the integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650.
The computer is stored in a compact body that allows you to choose your own system memory configuration, as the mini computer features two SO-DIMM DDR4 slots. You can also connect a 2.5" hard drive or use the M.2 SSD slot, plus there is a built-in network card with speeds up to 1Gbps. Connectivity features include a pair of USB 3.0 connectors on the front, one blue and one yellow, which are constantly powered. This means it can charge your smartphone even if the computer is turned off. Another two blue USB 3.0 ports can be found on the back, along with the HDMI and Thunderbolt 3 ports, which serve as a USB-C 3.1 or DisplayPort.
