Protected from all sides
The board is covered by so-called Thermal Armour. To this you can simply connect a 40mm fan, which then ensures better air flow and faster heat dissipation. On the back side you will find a reinforced brace, which, in addition to dissipating heat from the VRM controllers and other components, ensures that the motherboard does not bend even under heavy GPUs and the CPU cooler. Another important job of the armour is to protect the input and output ports, expansion slots, and important connectors from dust and dirt particles.
Cooling under control
Whether you have multiple graphics cards connected in SLI or CrossFireX mode, or whether you want to increase the fundamental frequency of DDR4 RAM from 2400MHz to its maximum in Boost mode, you need to get that amount of power under control using efficient cooling. The brand new microchip allows for extremely accurate temperature monitoring and fan control. Using the special software driver Thermal Radar 2+ you can then easily monitor the temperature of the whole system and manually adjust the speed of individual fans, or achieve optimal cooling with a single click.
Easy setup
The motherboard also contains a uniquely designed UEFI graphical BIOS, which can be controlled by the mouse and offers a lot of setting options, whether it is a matter regarding boot device priority or RAM testing. The motherboard stands out thanks to its fully digital DIGI+ Power Control, and the Turbo LAN function for the acceleration of network communications (two Gigabit LAN connectors).
