Architecture and performance

The card uses the Intel Battlemage (Xe2-HPG) architecture with support for Intel Xe Matrix Extensions, which enables hardware-accelerated AI computations. Intel Xe Super Sampling 2 offers AI-enhanced visuals in dozens of games, while XeSS Frame Generation and Xe Low Latency technologies improve smoothness and responsiveness during gameplay. Support for DirectX 12 Ultimate includes advanced graphics features, including ray tracing, which brings realistic lighting and reflections to supported games.

Cooling and construction

The cooling system consists of two fans with a special Striped Axial Fan design, whose blade structure and polished surface increase airflow. The fans operate in 0dB Silent Cooling mode, stopping at lower temperatures for absolute silence and only spinning up under heavier loads. The metal backplate not only gives the card a premium look but also helps dissipate heat thanks to a thermal pad on the back. ASRock has equipped the card with Super Alloy components, which include Japanese SP-Cap capacitors with low equivalent series resistance for a longer lifespan and better thermal resistance. Dr.MOS technology with Smart Power Stage monitors the current and temperature of individual power phases, ensuring cleaner and more stable power delivery to the GPU. The 2oz copper PCB reduces temperatures and increases energy efficiency, while the High Density Glass Fabric PCB construction protects against short circuits caused by moisture.

Connectivity and compatibility

The card offers three DisplayPort 2.1 outputs and one HDMI 2.1 output, allowing you to connect modern high-resolution and high-refresh-rate monitors. A single 8-pin connector is sufficient for power. An LED indicator, which can be turned off with a switch, gives the card an attractive look without always needing to be lit. The card uses a PCIe 4.0 x8 interface and is compatible with standard PC builds.

Software and other features

Intel regularly releases driver updates with support for modern games and continuous performance improvements. A dual media engine with dual-encode support speeds up video exporting and content creation, and the card handles all modern codecs, including AV1.
