Alzacafé Single Origin Guatemala, 250g

Alzacafé Single Origin Guatemala, 250g
Guatemalan Arabica with a full body and crisp acidity
AlzaCafé Single Origin Guatemala is a 100% Arabica with a full body, higher acidity and a diverse flavour profile. The taste combines notes of white grapes and cocoa, complemented by a jasmine aroma. The beans come from the high-altitude regions of Guatemala and bear the SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) designation, which is used for denser and harder beans typical of coffee grown at higher altitudes. The coffee is ideal for espresso and, thanks to its full body, also stands out beautifully in combination with milk. Medium roasting takes place in the Czech Republic, meaning the coffee reaches customers shortly after roasting, offering a more pronounced aroma and flavour in peak condition.

High-altitude coffee with SHB designation
Guatemala is one of the traditional Central American coffee producers, with a history dating back several centuries. Coffee plants thrive especially in higher-altitude areas, where the combination of elevation, local climate, and fertile soil creates ideal conditions for cultivation. Local beans carry the SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) designation, pointing to the high density and hardness typical of coffee grown at higher altitudes.

Roasted in the Czech Republic
After harvesting, the coffee beans are processed using the washed method, which contributes to a cleaner flavour profile and allows their natural notes to stand out better. Roasting takes place directly in the Czech Republic, which is why AlzaCafé reaches customers soon after roasting, retaining its freshness, flavour, and aroma. The medium roast highlights the natural character of the beans while developing a full-bodied taste without overpowering the typical flavour notes.

Fresh down to the very last bean
We recommend opening the coffee just before preparation and carefully sealing the packaging after each use with the practical zip closure. The three-layer design protects the beans from air exposure, while the one-way valve allows the escape of carbon dioxide naturally released from the coffee after roasting. To preserve flavour, aroma, and freshness, store the coffee in a dry place with a constant temperature, away from the fridge or freezer, where it could absorb moisture and surrounding odours.
