WMF Function 4 high casserole 20cm 762206380
WMF Function 4 762206380 high casserole – 20cm
The WMF Function 4 high casserole with a 20cm diameter offers a 5.3L capacity for preparing broths, soups, stews, as well as boiling potatoes and larger vegetables. It is made from high-quality Cromargan® 18/10 stainless steel, which excels in durability, acid resistance, and neutral flavour transfer. The main benefit is the multi-functional lid featuring four positions for low-water cooking, complete pouring, and straining pasta or rice. A practical pouring lip combined with a wide pouring rim makes serving easy and helps prevent drips. Hollow handles limit heat transfer, staying cooler when used on a hob. An integrated internal measuring scale makes it easy to measure liquids accurately, and the TransTherm® universal base ensures optimal heat distribution and retention. The casserole is suitable for all hob types, including induction.
One lid, four functions
The multi-functional lid offers four positions for different cooking methods. The closed position lets you cook with small amounts of water, while the open position makes it easy to drain liquids completely. Use the large sieve for straining pasta and the small sieve for straining rice.
Heat-insulated handles
The hollow handle design limits heat transfer from the pan, so the handles stay cooler and more comfortable to touch when cooking on the hob, making handling much easier. Please note this does not apply when used in the oven.
Convenient measuring
An internal measuring scale lets you measure liquids directly in the casserole. You can easily check the amount of water or stock you need without having to use an extra measuring jug.
Easier pouring
A wide rim with a pouring lip makes pouring liquids and serving finished dishes easy. The clever design helps prevent drips down the outside of the pan, keeping your worktop cleaner.
TransTherm® base
The TransTherm® base ensures optimal heat distribution and retention for even heating. It is suitable for all common hob types, including induction, making the casserole a versatile addition to your kitchen.
High-quality Cromargan® steel
Cromargan® 18/10 stainless steel offers an elegant look, neutral flavour transfer, and resistance to acids. The material is dishwasher-safe and ensures a long service life for everyday cooking.
Durable design
Robust construction, thick material, and precise craftsmanship ensure the pan retains its shape over the long term. The casserole is designed for regular use when preparing daily meals and favourite family recipes.
Lid for downdraft extractors
The lid with a hidden steam vent combines an elegant look with clever steam extraction. Its design lets you control steam release, making it ideal for kitchens with downdraft hob extractors.
20-year warranty on stainless steel
The stainless steel parts of the product are covered by a 20-year warranty on materials, workmanship, and durability. This applies to normal use in accordance with the product instructions; detailed conditions can be found in the enclosed manual.
