6TH SENSE technology does most of the work for you
The WHIRLPOOL WP B8X WBS EE dryer is equipped with the intelligent 6TH SENSE system, which automatically sets the drying parameters based on the load size, moisture level and temperature of the laundry. All you have to do is press the right programme button. The Whirlpool dryer ensures optimised use of energy and time.
6TH SENSE Precision Dry – intelligent, customised drying
Precision Dry technology with 6TH SENSE sensors constantly monitors the moisture and temperature inside the WHIRLPOOL WP B8X WBS EE drum to automatically adjust the drying time and intensity. It prevents over-drying, protects the fabric structure and optimises energy consumption. The result is gentle yet effective drying that perfectly adapts to the current load and your daily routine. No more unnecessary cycles – just perfectly dry laundry with minimal effort.
AdaptiveDry – smart drying that suits you
AdaptiveDry technology learns from every drying cycle and adapts to your needs. Using feedback from the HomeWhiz app – such as dryness level, degree of creasing or cycle duration – it automatically adjusts programme settings to match your preferences. Artificial intelligence optimises each subsequent cycle so that your laundry is dried exactly as you like it, with fewer creases and ready to wear. AdaptiveDry provides convenience, saves time and offers individual care for your clothes without unnecessary compromises.
Economical B energy rating
Whirlpool tumble dryers with a B energy rating offer the ideal balance between performance and consumption. Thanks to heat pump technology and smart controls, the appliance dries efficiently, gently and with lower energy consumption. The result is lower electricity bills and a smaller environmental footprint, without having to sacrifice convenience and fast drying.
Complete control anytime, anywhere
The HomeWhiz app turns your phone into a remote control for your home. It lets you set programmes, monitor cycle progress and receive real-time notifications – wherever you are. For washing and drying, HomeWhiz works with your appliances to make everything run smoothly: for example, it suggests the ideal drying cycle based on the previous wash. It saves you time, energy and hassle. With intuitive controls and smart adaptation to your habits, it brings more convenience to your everyday life.
Smooth laundry, ready to wear
Whirlpool's IronTouch technology smooths out creases during the drying cycle – so you can often skip ironing altogether. A special burst of steam at just the right moment gently relaxes fibres and refreshes fabrics without over-drying them. The result is dry, smooth laundry that you can just fold or wear straight away. IronTouch saves you time and effort, bringing more convenience to your daily routine.
Quiet drying for a peaceful home
Thanks to Silent Spin technology, you can enjoy drying your laundry without any distracting noise. The specially designed drum dampens the sounds that are usually created by the movement of zips, buttons and other metal parts. This means the dryer operates significantly more quietly, without any compromise on efficiency. Enjoy dry laundry and a peaceful home atmosphere without unnecessary noise.
Minimalism, elegance and thoughtful details
Whirlpool dryers feature a modern, minimalist design with an emphasis on detail. The prominent door, clean lines, high-quality materials and precise craftsmanship create a harmonious whole that will fit perfectly into any home – especially when combined with a washing machine from the same range. At the same time, the ergonomic controls and clear interface ensure convenient and intuitive operation every day. Whirlpool combines aesthetics with practicality to make laundry care not only effective, but also enjoyable.
Energy saving. Quiet operation. Maximum comfort.
The modern brushless Inverter Motor delivers top performance, long life and exceptional energy efficiency. Thanks to electronic control, the dryer automatically adapts to the amount of laundry, optimising energy consumption, reducing vibrations and ensuring quiet operation – ideal for use at any time of day or night. Less mechanical wear also means greater reliability and a longer appliance lifespan. And as proof of its quality, Whirlpool provides a ten-year warranty on the motor (free after registration).
The heat pump saves fabrics and your wallet
The dryer works on the principle of heating cold air, which does not need to be vented out of the appliance, and thanks to the heat pump, it can use the generated heat more efficiently. The result is more economical operation and lower electricity consumption compared to conventional appliances without a heat pump. In addition, the technology used allows drying at lower temperatures, and with the WHIRLPOOL WP B8X WBS EE dryer you can safely dry silk, cotton and other delicate fabrics.
Drying according to your preferences
Customise the drying result to exactly what you need. With the adjustable drying level function, you can choose whether you want your laundry to be just slightly damp for easy ironing, completely dry for storing in the wardrobe, or ready to wear straight away. The WHIRLPOOL WP B8X WBS EE dryer adapts to the fabric type and your plans – without over-drying and unnecessary hassle.
DuoFilter for easier maintenance on the WHIRLPOOL WP B8X WBS EE
The DuoFilter system combines two filter elements into a single unit, which significantly simplifies regular maintenance. It captures lint and debris from laundry more effectively, and cleaning the filter takes just a few seconds. This maintains optimal airflow, ensures the dryer's performance remains stable, and reduces energy consumption. DuoFilter is the smart solution for efficient, hassle-free operation.
Effortless and easy cleaning
The Easy Cleaning function makes dryer maintenance quick, convenient, and worry-free. Thanks to smart access to the filters and condenser, cleaning takes just a few seconds – no tools or complex handling required. This makes regular care easier than ever, contributing to the appliance's long-term performance and helping to maintain its low energy consumption.
Dry laundry quickly and efficiently
When you're short on time, the Rapid Dry programme is the ideal solution. It's designed for smaller loads and everyday clothing that you need ready to wear quickly. Optimised airflow and precise temperature control ensure even and gentle drying in a significantly shorter time – without compromising on the final result.
