Protection against excessive vibration
WD Red Pro hard drives have rotational vibration (RV) sensors that estimate and proactively counteract interference caused by increased vibration. By suppressing increased vibration in the drive chassis, shocks are minimised, performance is maintained, and the drives are protected. Western Digital works with a wide range of NAS system vendors, conducting extensive testing to ensure compatibility with most NAS storage enclosures.
