Opening the script in Robin Hood

Players look up a scenario in the adventure book that is relevant to the campaign and prepare a game plan depicting the castle and its surroundings. They choose the heroes to play as and set the game elements - for example, a bard figure on the hope scale on a designated starting square. During the game he must make sure that the bard does not fall to the field of hopelessness, i.e. to zero, due to various events, which could jeopardize the success of the whole adventure.

Exercise your strategic skills

The game is played in individual rounds, during which the order of players and events is determined by drawing circular chips of different colours. Four of them have the colour of heroes. The white token allows each player to play a turn in any order, while the black token forces the player to choose one of the heroes to play a turn. The red and purple tokens trigger various "dark" events, with a second purple token added to the game during the campaign. After the turn order is determined, players take turns taking turns or facing dark events.
