ZAMST JK-1 Knee S
ZAMST JK-1 Knee S knee brace
Patella protection for uninterrupted athletic performance
The Zamst JK-1 knee brace was developed as a highly effective solution for athletes who experience patellar tendon overload and are looking for the perfect balance between a subtle strap and robust fixation. Thanks to its integrated patella pad and targeted compression system, this brace stabilises the patella's movement path, instantly relieving pain, absorbing shocks and providing essential support not only for diagnosed Osgood-Schlatter disease, but also for common sports-related instability. Its lightweight, breathable design allows the knee a natural range of motion, and its easy application without having to take off your shoes makes it your indispensable partner for training and key matches.
Key features of the ZAMST JK-1 Knee S knee brace
- Targeted pressure on the patellar tendon effectively stabilises the front of the knee and provides immediate pain relief
- Integrated patella pad ensures the correct patellar tracking during flexion and eliminates the risk of movement deviation
- High breathability in the rear section guarantees comfort even during strenuous activity and does not restrict knee flexion
- Adjustable compression level lets you customise the tightness to your current feeling and support needs
- An ideal choice for adolescent athletes, as it significantly reduces strain on the knees during growth spurts
- Practical design allows for quick and easy application without having to take off your shoes
- A complete and long-term sustainable replacement for single-use knee taping
- The brace is size S (32–35 cm)
Targeted patella stabilisation for confident movement
The technical essence of the JK-1 model is not just compression, but the creation of precisely directed pressure on the patellar tendon. Thanks to the integrated patella pad, the brace ensures that the patella moves in a stable path during flexion and load. This makes your every move more predictable and safer, especially during landings or sharp changes in direction when the knee faces the greatest risk of unwanted deviation.
Pain relief and support for overloading
This brace is designed to actively reduce the load on the knee ligaments, which you will appreciate especially if you have pain in the front of the knee or have been diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter. It acts as a mechanical shock absorber that distributes pressure and protects the joint from direct impact. This also makes it an ideal choice for adolescent athletes during growth spurts, as it helps to minimise the risk of injury and reduces strain on the entire knee.
Maximum breathability and natural range of motion
To ensure the brace does not restrict your technique, it features a special breathable section at the back. This design element guarantees that the knee bends and extends easily, and that excess heat and sweat do not build up in the popliteal fossa. This gives you a sense of lightness and freedom, which is crucial for athletic performance, while the front of the brace continues to perform its supportive function.
Individual adjustment without unnecessary delay
The practicality of the JK-1 is highlighted by its open design, which allows for quick and easy application without needing to take off your shoes. You can easily adjust the compression level yourself using the fastening elements to ensure the brace fits you perfectly. This gives you instant stability and feedback, helping your body to better perceive the knee's axis of movement even during the most dynamic activities.
Choose the correct size
To ensure maximum effectiveness and correct positioning of the patella pad, it is essential to choose the right size. Proceed as follows: measure the circumference of your leg exactly 5cm below the centre of your knee. If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one. This ensures that the brace will be sufficiently comfortable, will not restrict your blood circulation, and the tightening straps will have the ideal range for effective fastening.
