Strong and lightweight construction
The RIPPER scooter combines low weight with durability, which is key for practising tricks. The frame and deck are made from 6061 aluminium alloy. The 500×110mm deck provides plenty of stability, with a foot space measuring 355mm. The handlebars, on the other hand, are made of strong steel to withstand even rougher handling. A CNC cut-out in the deck not only reduces weight but also enhances the scooter's look.
Fast and smooth ride
The scooter's riding characteristics are built on 110mm wheels with aluminium cores. These cores increase the strength of the wheels during landings and jumps. The wheels themselves are made of high-rebound polyurethane (PU) with an 88A wheel hardness. ABEC 9 bearings ensure minimal rolling resistance and a smooth ride.
Control and safety features
A reliable connection between the handlebars and fork is essential for freestyle riding. The scooter uses an HIC compression system, which is held firmly in place by a four-bolt clamp. This system minimises play and increases the overall stiffness of the construction when performing tricks. The two-piece steel fork is threadless and makes maintenance easier. For safe stopping, there's a steel flex fender brake, which is effective and gentle on the wheel.
