Using the waterproofing additive for hand washing:
The garment must be clean and dry. Add the entire contents of the HG bottle to 6 litres of water in a bucket. Place the clothing in the bucket and turn it regularly for 15 minutes. Then rinse the garment with cold water, hang it up and let it air dry. Ideally, iron the laundry before it is completely dry. This will enhance the effect of the product.
Using the waterproofing additive for coloured textiles in the washing machine:
The garment must be clean and dry. The detergent dispenser must be clean and free of residues, as washing powder reduces the effect of the waterproofing additive. Select a wash programme for darks at 40°C without a pre-wash and do not add fabric softener. Start the cycle and after 15 seconds, add the entire contents of the HG Detergent Additive for waterproofing cotton, linen, wool and mixed fabrics to the dispenser. Let the wash programme finish and dry the clothes in the usual way. Ideally, iron the laundry before it is completely dry. This will enhance the effect of the product.
