The Bumper Plate weight plate - 10kg (black) is one of the solid rubber Olympic plates that have been used for years mainly for CrossFit, as well as for all weightlifting and powerlifting techniques. These plates are also suitable for dynamic training. Thanks to a special blend of rubber and PVC, they absorb impacts well, making them ideal for training sessions where the barbell is dropped. The material used protects the barbell from damage when dropped from a height better than classic cast iron or rubber-coated plates. Professional design

Bumper Plate weight plates all have the same diameter and differ only in thickness. This means the barbell shaft remains at the same height regardless of the load used, and the impact force is distributed evenly when the barbell is dropped. The plates are made of hard rubber and marked with their weight. Featuring a 51mm hole, they fit all standard Olympic barbells. They are suitable for CrossFit and strength training, and are gentle on your floor. Bumper Plate weight plates are made from a blend of rubber and PVC, while the professional-grade centre is made of specially hardened and smoothed steel to prevent the hole from wearing out or loosening when the barbell is dropped.

High durability of Bumper Plate weight plates

The hard rubber and PVC blend absorbs impacts, delivers optimal bounce properties and offers a longer service life compared to older plates with minimal PVC content (which used to chip easily and suffer from loose centres). Each side of the plate has its weight moulded into it.
