It has two reflectors that provide a luminous flux of up to 1300 lm and light up to 200 m. The reflectors ensure very well focused light beams that shine into the distance and close up at the same time. The main reflector shines with a cool white light of 6500 K chromaticity, while the secondary reflector shines with a neutral white light that better penetrates fog, rain and snow. The Fenix HP12R-T headlamp is made of plastic and aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, and is IP66-rated to withstand rain as well as drops from a height of 2 m.
Fenix HP12R-T enables combination mode
The Fenix HP12R-T headlamp features a front red light, red SOS flash and a red light and flash on the rear battery housing. The main headlight offers 4 lighting modes, while the secondary offers three modes. In low and turbo mode you can activate both headlights simultaneously. The headlamp is equipped with a powerful Luminus SST-25 LED with a cold tint of light, a Luminus SST-20 LED with a warm tint of light and two complementary red Everlight 2835 LEDs that reach a lifetime of 50,000 hours. The electronics allow for an extended light time function and are protected against reverse insertion of batteries.
The Fenix HP12R-T headlamp remembers the last set mode
The Fenix HP12R-T headlamp can be tilted in the holder to adjust the direction of light. It offers intelligent overheating protection. If it reaches a temperature of 60°C or higher, it will automatically reduce the output by a few lm to lower its temperature. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, the output will increase again. The headlamp is also equipped with a memory for the last set power mode and a battery charge indication. Four lit LEDs indicate 80-100% battery charge, three 50-80% charge, two 40-50% battery status, one 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates that the battery is less than 20% charged.
