Sennheiser IE 600

The Sennheiser IE 600 audiophile in-ear headphones use a single 7mm TrueResponse dynamic driver. The acoustic tuning is focused on neutral reproduction with fast and accurate bass, while the D2CA dual resonance chamber technology limits resonances that affect reproduction. The headphone housings are made of AMLOY-ZR01 amorphous metal using 3D printing and are then finished by hand. The detachable cables are reinforced with para-aramid fibres and connect to the headphones via gold-plated Fidelity (+) MMCX connectors. 

TrueResponse and Neutral Acoustic Tuning

The Sennheiser IE 600 uses a single 7mm TrueResponse dynamic driver that provides a frequency response from 4Hz to 46.5kHz. The internal acoustic space in the nozzle has been modified to achieve a natural sound. D2CA technology uses two resonance chambers to limit unwanted resonances. The total harmonic distortion is 0.06% at 1kHz and 94dB.

AMLOY-ZR01 and Detachable Cables

The IE 600 housings are made of AMLOY-ZR01 amorphous metal, a material also used for components in the aerospace and medical industries. The housings are manufactured in Germany using 3D printing and include both automated and manual production steps. Cables with 3.5mm and 4.4mm terminations are available. The ergonomic design is complemented by adjustable ear hooks and both silicone and foam ear tips in three sizes.
