The nickel-coated Samsung controller, along with a heat spreader, helps to dissipate the heat generated, while Dynamic Thermal Guard technology continuously monitors the SSD's operating temperature. The Samsung 990 PRO offers high random performance, which is especially noticeable when loading large amounts of game data.
