Not recommended, totally unreliable product. The baby monitor has woken my baby up several times because someone GENIALLY figured out that a product that is used with a sleeping baby will, when disconnected and reconnected (which itself happens several times a day), yell instructions in English really LOUDLY to the entire house (there is no way to turn this sound off or down). Nothing annoys a parent more than having someone/something wake up a laboriously put to sleep child. I am reclaiming and never want to see this product again.
Repeated spontaneous disconnection from wifi and subsequent reconnection, when the baby monitor announces loudly the actions in English (these sounds cannot be turned off, even if I have all sounds in the app turned off/muted) - 'Wait fo wifi config. Connect router. Connect internet. Add device success. ' - I've been woken up by a baby x number of times, it's nerve-wracking
The picture is often interrupted with the message 'establishing encrypted channel', sometimes it doesn't reconnect 'failed to establish' and you are done watching
Cannot be switched off except by unplugging
When plugged back into the network, loud notification of tasks again, so restarting if there is any error in the transmission after falling asleep is no longer possible if you don't want to wake the baby up

I don't understand that it can't remember multiple Wi-Fi networks... whenever I go to the cottage, I have to delete the device, and reconfigure it... and the QR reading from the display is not 100% Ok either... in one place it performs great, but once you want to travel with it, it's a pain.

It would have fulfilled exactly what we needed, but after pairing with the phone and connecting to WiFi, the switch constantly restarts and is unusable. I've read it in several user reviews, it's probably a common phenomenon. Besides, the manual says, as someone mentioned, that it really only supports the old iOS and Android. The app can be installed on the current iOS, but it doesn't inspire much confidence.

I generally rate it positively despite my aversion to cloud stuff. The end justifies the means. It has a few IT flies, but it can be worked around.
Relatively simple and functional
Good night IR illumination. Even in total darkness, it'll illuminate nicely
The recommended "snake" holder (sold separately) is sufficiently rigid and holds well
Option to rotate the camera remotely
It looks like it's secure, at first glance it doesn't stick out various administrative TCP ports etc.
Otherwise probably good, the cloud is a necessary evil, I could imagine doing it differently, but it wouldn't be very comfortable to use
It won't replace the classic voice baby monitor, but it's great as a supplement, especially on holiday when you put the baby to bed but want to go and sit for a while. You get a live stream and you're much more in control.
Possibly in the children's room, so that the man in the study/kitchen can keep an eye on what's going on
The Android app is 300 MB, which is due to the fact that it is a universal app for all possible IoT piss from TrueLife, but still.
The baby monitor must have a good wifi signal, otherwise it jerks and it's not much
It only supports 2.4 GHz, so if you drive to a progressive hotel where they only have 5GHz, you're screwed. But it can be solved with a mobile hotspot, but you have to have enough mobile data
The baby monitor has (according to the manual) a limitation to certain characters in the password. I don't understand why, some developer must have made his life easier. Again, if you're going to a hotel somewhere that uses more complicated passwords, the only way to do that is to hotspot on your phone
It doesn't have an integrated battery as Alza presents, at least I didn't notice
The basic connection to the nanny is via the cloud for free, so out of control, guarantee, whatever. When it's going, it's going. When someone turns it off, it'll make a nice toy for the kids.
For pairing, this requires access to the location on the mobile phone. Why? That the nanny would also have GPS and check the "proximity" of the pairing cell phone? What else could it be used for?
I'm generally against all kinds of cloud stuff, but I guess I can't do otherwise. The only other option is live video feeds, but the signal will still be bad. If you go into a basement or a bar in the hotel, it's still no good.
It is not a substitute for a classic baby monitor, unless the transmission has to be on all the time. The app does have a notification that it has detected a sound, but a screaming baby monitor will get you out of bed much faster and more reliably than a beeping mobile phone. Not to mention that you might want to turn off your data for the night to get some peace of mind.

Possibility to attach the base with screws
Even with a good internet connection, the response time is about 2s. Here are definitely better baby monitors with a receiver communicating directly.
Notifications about movement/sound come after about 10sec after the event. Clicking through the notification does not take you to the live camera but to a screenshot of the event, which you usually don't care about because it is not a security camera but a bug
