I ordered this product mainly so I wouldn't be hogging the TV from my family and so I could play more often, and I have to say I'm satisfied. My expectations for the Portal have been met. The only thing I would probably criticise is the battery life. It's not something that would put me off buying it, but it could last longer. I would also criticise the inability to connect wireless headphones other than Sony's own gaming ones (I get the impression they are even designed specifically for the PlayStation). For me, the price is excessive given that the Portal doesn't offer that many features, but when it meets your expectations, you can turn a blind eye.
The option to play games directly from the Cloud with a PlayStation Premium subscription.
Satisfactory quality and sound for the device.
Comfortable to hold
Lovely design
Easy setup
Shorter battery life, but it's nothing terrible.
You can't connect other Bluetooth headphones, like the gaming ones from Sony, to the PlayStation.

it's very individual to judge, as the portal goes by internet connection. on my home wifi I measure maybe only 7Mb/s but the portal rolls great. on data outside the home I usually measure about 25mb/s and it works too, even though on data the picture sometimes bites. I only took it for a test run and I haven't turned PS on the TV since I got it. I think it's a wonderful thing.
it works even on data away from home
Fits well in the hand

I've been using the console for a week and a bit and I can't praise especially the beautiful processing of the console
Great battery life and a great looking console
It's not worth it without cloud streaming

Playstation Portal isn't as bad as I thought when they announced it. In addition to playing your own games streamed from your own PS5 console, they later made it possible to stream games if you have a Playstation Premium subscription (which isn't exactly cheap). Other than that, it's actually a screen attached to the tablet, but thankfully the controller is one of the best, as it's the same as a standalone DualSense with everything. Playing is very simple: the console automatically switches on when you switch it on, and similarly when you switch off the handheld. Of course, the fluidity will depend 100% on the quality of the WiFi connection, which is difficult to estimate without testing. As a downside, I would see that it's really just a video streaming screen and even then it costs a pretty outrageous almost 5 grand. But Sony doesn't even allow e.g. streaming via third-party apps (Netflix, etc. ) So you will have another device at home that can only do 1 thing. The hardware is definitely as bad as they could afford, as the initial update will take you 30 minutes. But then, fortunately, you won't be able to tell. Besides, it also amazes me that you can't even connect wireless headphones to it, even the Sony ones! if they are not strictly gaming (PS PULSE). At least the 3.5 mm connector for regular wired headphones is there.
A great controller because it's just DualSense
Light
Easy to use
Very slow updates
The screen could have been better, e.g. OLED
No support for wireless headphones of almost any kind

I don't know what the person who is complaining about it expected. My expectation was that for a few money (on sale for 4k) at home on WiFi, where the PS5 is connected, I can play when I don't want to sit in front of the TV, but maybe in bed, on the toilet. I don't expect miracles from the display knowing what technology it is. So apart from it being heavier than I expected and the relatively weak battery life, I got exactly what I expected. So for that kind of home chewing it's absolutely perfect 😉
It's good to play at home
Designed to match PS5
Connectivity at home is fine (personally I like 2.4 GHz better than 5 GHz, I don't know why)
Harder than you'd expect.
The battery could last longer
Sure, the display could be better, but for the money it's OK
