The cooker has a very nice design and I bought it even though I knew there were slightly cheaper options on the market. It's one of those things that makes you think "how could you have lived without them before". I've already tried several types of meat and non-meat dishes, and it's really a way to take food one level up from what I've been used to. I don't really understand the indication in the manual that the cooker should be used in a container with at least 10 litres of water. I don't even have such a big pot at home and I cook smaller things like eggs comfortably in about 1 litre (even so, the cooker stays submerged above the indicated level). For larger pieces of meat, of course, you need to choose a slightly larger container and the amount of water, but I still use max. 3 litres. I put the food in the included zip lock bags and manually close them, I don't use a vacuum cleaner. Because of the residual air, they sometimes float to the surface for me, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. I'm a bit puzzled how to get rid of the smell from the bag, what I cooked in it a week ago, but I can find some tips on the internet.
