Due to its high digestibility, the HA Hypoallergenic diet is also suitable for cats with inflammatory bowel disease. The diet is formulated with hydrolysed protein sources, selected carbohydrate sources and an appropriate combination of key nutritional characteristics. Thanks to the limited content of hydrolysed protein, only in single source, low molecular weight form, it helps to prevent allergic reactions. Feed indication
Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Feline HA Hypoallergenic capsules are suitable for cats with adverse reactions to food, food allergies requiring long-term management and food intolerance. They are also intended for cats suffering from dermatitis caused by food allergy, chronic diarrhea, malabsorption or enteropathy with protein loss. They are also suitable for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), hyperlipidaemia and lymphangiectasia.
Feeding instructions
Feed should always be given under the supervision of a veterinarian. Please note that any information provided about PURINA® PRO PLAN® Veterinary Diets is intended for dietary support of cats with the symptoms listed and is not a substitute for appropriate medical treatment. Veterinary diets should be administered under veterinary supervision.
Elimination diet: If possible, switch to the new diet immediately or keep the transition period to a minimum. The HA St/Ox Hypoallergenic™ diet should be fed as a single food for 8 to 10 weeks. In most cases, a positive response to the diet can be observed in 3 to 6 weeks. If the symptoms of intolerance disappear, the HA St/Ox Hypoallergenic™ diet can be fed for life.
