Kindle with or without advertising - dilemma solved!

The topic of choosing to buy a Kindle over a Tablet to read eBooks has been a much talked about. Both offer various benefits, but Kindles are specifically designed for reading, have longer battery life, are lighter and use electronic ink technology which helps prevent eye strain. So if you make the decision to buy a Kindle, will you opt for a version with or without advertising?

Kindle readers from Amazon are available in two different versions. Their specifications are exactly the same, dimensions, weight, functionality... the only difference is the presence of advertising. Versions that feature advertising only display adverts in certain areas within the list of books, in the status bar as a picture or in full screen when the reader is idle.

Advertising therefore never interferes in the actual reading experience. Kindles featuring advertising are considerably cheaper than versions without, saving you enough money to purchase several eBooks with the difference. The choice is yours. Save and see adverts when you're not reading, or pay a bit more and be absolutely undisturbed.
