How to Prepare Authentic Turkish Coffee

• You need very finely ground coffee, almost to dust
• The ideal amount of coffee is 6g per 50ml
• Put 20ml of water, sugar and spices into the coffee pot
• Heat the contents until it turns to caramel
• Add water until the pot is 2/3 full and then add the coffee
• When the coffee starts to boil and the foam rises to the edge, remove the coffee pot from the hob
• Pour the foam into the cups
• Bring the coffee to the boil again and repeat the procedure with foam 3 times
• Take the coffee off the hob and leave it for 30 seconds, allowing the sediment to settle
