Co-op with Other Players
The iconic co-op Horde mode returns as Horde Siege, which expands on the original concept with larger maps, more participants, and more extensive battles. In Gears of War: E-Day for Xbox Series X|S / Windows, you'll choose one of three classes—Assault, Marksman, Medic, or Breacher—and fend off Locust attacks together with other team members. The combination of multiple teams allows you to complete shared objectives, defeat world bosses, and earn rewards, customisation options, and equipment upgrades.
VERSUS
4v4 Combat
The competitive side of the series is represented by the return of Versus mode, which brings new maps and redesigned popular 4v4 combat variants. Thanks to improved movement and controls, the battles in Gears of War: E-Day for Xbox Series X|S / Windows feel more dynamic, while retaining the signature cover system. Jumps, traversing between obstacles, flanking opponents, and quick manoeuvres provide greater freedom in every encounter.
