Stellar Equipment

The tube itself is very light, weighing only 3.3 kg and measuring 143 × 370 mm on an azimuthal mount with Maksutov-Cassegrain construction. The steel tripod can be adjusted in height from 63-115 cm. The package includes two SL achromatic eyepieces in 10 mm and 26 mm with anti-reflective coating and a Barlow lens with 2x additional magnification and a camera adapter. It has over 42,900 objects in its database, 3 tracking speeds - sidereal, lunar and solar, and auto-tracking can be set. The angular resolution threshold is 1.1 arcseconds and even children can look through the telescope under supervision without any problems.

You can't do it without the system

To use this telescope you need a Windows 95/98/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10 operating system and a USB adapter (RS-232 port). Calibration is by brightest star or two stars, the system is driven by servo motors with 1 A, 11-15 V DC power supply. Tracking is in two axes, the SynScan AZ handheld has automatic navigation.
