The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD microscope is suitable for working with jewellery, electronics boards, minerals, coins and metal cuts. The microscope is also suitable for use at home, for example for studying insects and plants. The microscope is equipped with a LCD display, which reduces eye strain during prolonged observation, as viewing the display is more comfortable than looking into the eyepiece of a standard microscope.

Microscope with 5Mpx camera and LCD display
The image is captured by a 5 MPx camera. The camera provides a magnification of 10-300×, and with further zooming you can observe objects at magnifications up to 1200×. colour and detail images are transmitted to the built-in LCD screen. The integrated camera allows you to take pictures and videos. The control buttons are located directly below the display. Use these buttons to control photo and video quality, turn time-lapse mode on or off, select circular video mode, and set the date and time.
Connectivity and advanced software
The microscope is self-contained and does not require connection to external devices. A memory card (sold separately) is required to store photos and videos. The microscope can be connected to an external monitor, to a TV or to a computer. The kit includes all necessary cables and software. The software also allows you to add images and text to the images captured by the microscope.
Microscope lighting and power supply
The illumination system of the microscope contains bright LEDs with adjustable brightness. The microscope contains a built-in polarizing filter to reduce parasitic glare when studying shiny metals. The microscope is powered by a power supply and an integrated battery allowing up to three hours of continuous work with the microscope.
