Discover the details of the world around us
The optical system includes achromatic lenses and a wide-angle eyepiece. All lenses are made of optical glass and therefore provide a sharp and contrasting image. The microscope allows the observation of small objects over the entire magnification range. The 40× magnification lens is equipped with a protective spring frame. The monocular head can be tilted by 30°, so you won't feel tired even when working with the microscope for a long time.

Adjustable LED lighting and battery power
The microscope stage is equipped with specimen holders and a disc-shaped aperture with six holes for light flux control. The Microscope uses dual LED lighting which is located above and below the table. This allows the study of samples of any translucency. The lighting is powered by standard batteries included in the kit.
Educational publications about the microworld
The microscope also comes with the educational publication "The Invisible World". The colourful book explains all the complexities involved, such as the parts of a microscope and their functions, what bacteria and protozoa look like, what you can see in a drop of water and more, all in simple language. In addition to the theory, the book also describes interesting experiments that can be performed at home using the Levenhuk Discovery Nano microscope.
