CERESIT CS 38 Heat resistant, black 300 ml

CERESIT CS 38 Heat resistant is a 1-component sealant based on inorganic materials. It is suitable for repairing cracks in stoves, sealing joints exposed to direct flame, sealing and placement of refractory bricks, fixing of fire-resistant panels, Smoke extraction and flues, for caulking and joints for the stove, boilers, furnaces, chimneys, grills and exhaust pipes. Resists extreme temperatures up to 1200 °C as well as direct flame. It offers very good adhesion to most building materials, it can be used on cement, concrete, bricks, refractory bricks, glass, iron, steel, galvanised steel and anodic oxidised aluminium. CERESIT CS 38 Heat resistant sealant does not shrink and does not release steam. It can also be painted.

Use:
BEFORE USE:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease. Cut off the top of the cartridge above the thread and screw the nozzle onto the cartridge. The tip of the nozzle must be cut according to the width of the joint/joint. Insert the cartridge into the application gun. Apply the sealant evenly to the joints.
APPLICATIONS: Apply the sealant evenly. If necessary, the surface of the sealant can be smoothed with a spatula before drying. Allow to dry for at least 2 days and then slowly increase the temperature to avoid bubbles.
CLEANING:
Remove any adhesive residue immediately with a damp cloth. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
