Thermal and optical image fusion
The core of the system consists of a thermal detector with a resolution of 256 × 192 pixels complemented by an optical camera with a resolution of 0.3 Mpx. This combination allows an efficient fusion of the visible and thermal spectra, making it easier to identify specific measurement points. The 25 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth, real-time display of the scene being viewed directly on the display of the connected mobile device.
Temperature range and measurement
The measurement capabilities cover a wide temperature range, which suits the needs of electrical inspection, heat leakage or mechanical machine diagnostics. Measurement accuracy is within ±2°C and the user can manually focus to get the most accurate data. A spectral range of 7.5 to 14 µm allows detection of thermal radiation under normal operating conditions.
Wireless connectivity and mobile power
Communication with mobile phones is wireless and supports both iOS and Android operating systems via the Hikmicro Viewer app. Power is provided by a built-in Li-Ion battery that keeps the device running for up to four hours of operation. For charging and possible cable data transfer, the USB-C interface is located on the body of the thermal imager.
