Performance and cooling
The digital VRM system ensures stable power for the processor with its 8+2+2 phase configuration. Eight 60A DrMOS VCORE phases supply power to the processor cores, while two additional SOC phases and two MISC phases power the integrated graphics and PCIe lanes. An enlarged heatsink with a thermal pad provides efficient heat dissipation from the power delivery system. For ultra-fast storage, a passive M.2 Thermal Guard is included. This prevents thermal throttling of SSDs under intense load, maintaining consistent read and write speeds.
Memory and storage
Four DDR5 RAM slots support both AMD EXPO™ and Intel XMP profiles. The board works with memory overclocked up to 8200MT/s and accommodates a total capacity of 256GB. For data storage, it offers two M.2 slots with a PCIe interface, one of which is Gen 5.0 and the other Gen 4.0. Connectivity is rounded out by four SATA III ports.
Connectivity and expansion
Network connectivity is provided by a 2.5GbE LAN port and a Wi-Fi 6E module supporting the 802.11ax standard and Bluetooth 5.3. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is reserved for the graphics card. Additional expansion cards can be installed in the PCIe 3.0 x4 slot. The rear panel includes USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, complemented by USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0.
Simplified assembly
A set of features simplifies component installation for an easy PC build. The WIFI EZ-Plug system integrates the antenna connectors into a single adapter for quick connection. The PCIe EZ-Latch mechanism lets you release the graphics card with a single press. The M.2 EZ-Latch Click latches enable the installation of M.2 drives and heatsinks without needing screwdrivers or tiny screws. The EZ Debug Zone is used for diagnostics, using LEDs to quickly indicate any problems with the CPU, RAM, VGA, or boot device.
