Co-op with Other Players
The iconic co-operative Horde mode returns in the form of Horde Siege, which expands on the original concept with larger maps, more participants, and more extensive battles. In Gears of War: E-Day Xbox Series X|S / Windows, you will choose one of the Assault, Marksman, Medic or Breacher classes and, together with other team members, you will repel Locust attacks. Joining multiple teams allows you to complete shared objectives, defeat world bosses, and earn rewards, customisation options, and equipment upgrades.

4v4 Combat
The competitive side of the series is represented by the return of Versus mode, which brings new maps and revamped fan-favourite 4v4 combat variations. Thanks to improved movement and controls, combat in Gears of War: E-Day Xbox Series X|S / Windows feels more dynamic, while retaining its signature cover system. Jumps, traversing between obstacles, flanking opponents, and swift manoeuvres provide greater freedom in every encounter.
