Hall Effect Magnetic Switches
The CORSAIR MGX Hyperdrive switches work on the Hall effect principle and can withstand up to 150 million presses. Users can set the actuation point in 0.1mm increments. The adjustable actuation point, ranging from 0.1mm to 4mm, helps to adapt the button sensitivity to your gaming style. The 2-rail design of the switches prevents unwanted key wobble when pressed.
Rapid Trigger Technology
Rapid Trigger technology instantly resets the key after just a 0.1mm lift. This allows for immediate input repetition without the need for the button to fully return. The instant button response makes it easier to chain complex combos in fighting games. The setting reduces reaction time when performing fast game sequences.
Tri-Mode Controller Connectivity
The controller offers three ways to connect to gaming devices. The wired connection uses a USB 3.0 or 3.1 Type-A interface with a tangle-free rubber finish and supports a polling rate of up to 8,000Hz. Wireless connection uses a 2.4GHz frequency or Bluetooth technology to pair with a PC. The integrated battery offers up to 40 hours of battery life with RGB backlighting on at 100% brightness and up to 200 hours with the lighting off.
Appearance and Customisation
The top magnetic panel of the controller can be easily removed and replaced with your own design. This allows users to customise the look of the device to their liking. Dynamic 360° RGB backlighting illuminates the edges of the controller as well as the 15 main buttons. The lighting effects can be adjusted using keyboard shortcuts directly on the device itself.
FlashTap and SOCD Function
FlashTap technology handles conflicting SOCD directional inputs according to the user's choice. Players can set priority to up, first-pressed, last-pressed or neutral. Correct evaluation of conflicting commands meets the rules of gaming tournaments. This setting helps to execute precise and clean character movements.
Tournament Mode and the Arcade Stick
A special Tournament Game Mode is activated by pressing a single dedicated button. The mode locks the touchpad and deactivates macros on the programmable G-keys.
