ASUS Triton 78 ver.2
Top cooler is compatible with AMD processors and Intel (also supports quad-core models with overclocking).Four copper heat removal trudičky heatpipe technology in combination with iFan and 120 mm fan ensures maximum cooling efficiency while maintaining the highest possible level of silence.Provides 4-pin power connector with PWM, thereby provides support for fan speed control.Rapid dissipation of heat helps the aluminum fins and copper base.
Heat pipe technology is based on the closed tube, where the "heated" the end is a liquid with low boiling point, which is beginning to evaporate by heating in the gas phase increases the "cooling" end where it condenses on the walls and the tube is returned in a liquid state back .When heating the liquid, the waste heat from the chip is used to change state and then in the form of hot steam goes to the opposite end, which must be cooled to a temperature at which vapor condenses.Compared to classical convention has heatpipe technology is greater efficiency of heat transfer, but only if sufficient temperature difference between the two ends of the tube and its correct orientation.
