The front is complemented by customisable gold joystick backlighting and a green-lit Xbox button, while the back is adorned with a 20th-anniversary ROG badge, a symbol of its limited edition status.
Games have never looked so compelling on the ROG XBOX Ally X20
The ROG Nebula HDR display delivers a true OLED panel with rich blacks and up to 1400 nits of brightness, allowing explosions, sunsets, and neon-lit alleyways in games to stand out in all their glory. VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1400 certification, Dolby Vision support, and FreeSync Premium Pro technology with VRR ensure a completely tear-free image. Additionally, a narrower top bezel has made it possible to increase the screen size to 7.4 inches without compromising the device's compactness.
Ergonomics built for all-day gaming
The contoured grips that follow the palm of your hand, balanced weight, and thoughtful layout of controls are the result of years of ROG's ergonomic research. The new anti-slip texture with an embossed ROG logo provides a firm grip at any angle, so you can handle even marathon gaming sessions without fatigue.
Every move lands exactly where it should
State-of-the-art joystick technology with magnetic TMR sensors registers even the slightest movements, a tight 3% deadzone eliminates drift, and a new algorithm removes sticking in the four axes. The result is millimetre-perfect precision with minimal power consumption, whether you're playing action titles or racing simulators.
One D-pad, two playstyles
Simply lift the D-pad slightly and rotate it 90 degrees to switch between precise four-way control for indie and retro games and wide eight-way control for complete dominance in fighting games—all without a single tool. The hybrid rubber and metal mechanism under the cover ensures crisp tactile feedback with every command.
Performance for the most demanding AAA titles
Under the hood works an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with dynamic resource allocation, ensuring an exceptionally responsive game engine even for the most demanding AAA titles. To sustain this performance over the long term, the device relies on an 80Wh battery and the ROG Intelligent Cooling system, which directs air to the processor through a new internal channel and high-flow fans.
Your entire game library in one place
One device, all your games. Windows 11 combines Xbox and all major PC game stores into a single, organised library, so you can play your favourite indie titles, epic AAA games, and modded classics without switching between platforms. The Armoury Crate Special Edition software, designed specifically for handheld consoles, makes browsing your library and gaming easier, and a 2-month Xbox Game Pass Premium subscription is also included.
