Preparation
Grind the coffee to the coarseness required for your chosen brewing methour This coffee is supplied as whole beans (not ground) as standard.
Storage
Always open the coffee just before preparation. There's no need to transfer it to another container. Simply reseal the bag using the zip lock. The three-layer packaging protects the coffee from the air, while the one-way valve allows the naturally produced carbon dioxide to escape. This lets the beans degas without going stale. Store the package somewhere with a stable temperature and dry conditions – which definitely means not in the fridge or freezer. The coffee would unnecessarily absorb moisture and surrounding odours. Even our special bags wouldn't help in that situation.
