Preparation
Grind the coffee to a coarseness suitable for your chosen brewing methour The coffee is supplied as whole beans (not ground) as standard.
Storage
Only open the coffee right before brewing. There's no need to transfer it to another container. Simply reseal the bag using the zip lock. The three-layer packaging protects the coffee from air, while a one-way valve allows the naturally produced carbon dioxide to escape. This allows the beans to degas without going stale. Keep the package somewhere with a stable temperature and low humidity – which definitely means not in the fridge or freezer. The coffee would unnecessarily absorb moisture and surrounding odours, and even our special bags wouldn't help there.
