Preparation
Grind the coffee to the coarseness required for your chosen brewing methour We supply the coffee as whole beans (unground) as standard.
Storage
Only unseal the coffee just before preparation. There's no need to transfer it to another container. Simply reseal the bag using the zip lock. The triple-layer packaging protects the coffee from air, while a one-way valve allows naturally occurring carbon dioxide to escape. This lets the beans degas without going stale. Keep the package somewhere with a stable temperature and dry conditions – which definitely isn't the fridge or freezer. The coffee would unnecessarily absorb moisture and surrounding odours. Even our special bags wouldn't help there.
