The AXAGON EEM2-SD2B DISPLAY external enclosure with a 10Gbps USB interface is designed for an M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD. The reversible USB-C connector on the enclosure ensures a stable connection to your computer. The package includes not only a USB-C -> USB-C cable for connecting the enclosure to your computer, but also a USB-C -> USB-A adapter. This allows you to connect the enclosure to any USB port.

Drive Status Information
The integrated LED display shows important information about the current status of the inserted drive. You can switch between information on SSD detection, the file system used, temperature, drive health, data transfer speed and operating hours. In addition, a detailed graph allows you to monitor the SSD's temperature development in real time, while a sleep mode helps to reduce power consumption during inactivity. Thanks to clear monitoring, you always have the operation and status of the drive under control.
Smart Feature Support
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface allows for data transfer speeds of up to 10Gb/s. The external M.2 enclosure supports UASP and TRIM technologies and can read S.M.A.R.T. information to monitor the status of the inserted drive. The chipset used ensures compatibility with both M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs, so you don't have to worry about the interface type when selecting a drive. The SSD can be mounted in three different lengths – 42, 60 and 80mm. The enclosure is designed for single-sided and double-sided M.2 cards and does not limit the capacity of the installed SSD.
Quick Drive Swapping
Thanks to the screwless design, the M.2 SSD can be easily installed, removed or quickly swapped without using a screwdriver. This makes the enclosure suitable not only for external storage but also for data migration or drive testing. The black metal shell has an elegant finish that reduces visible fingerprints. The aluminium body, together with the thermal pad, helps to effectively dissipate heat from the inserted SSD, contributing to a longer drive lifespan and limiting performance degradation caused by thermal throttling.
