Liqui Moly Underbody Protection - bitumen, black, 1l

Underbody Protection is a thixotropic protective agent, black in colour, which is a mixture of bitumen, synthetic resins, solvents and special inhibitors. After the coating has aired, a tough and elastic layer remains, which withstands environmental influences and protects against corrosion caused by road salt. The material is characterised by its excellent anti-corrosion properties. It is non-drip and therefore does not run during application. This allows thick layers of the material to be applied in a single step.

Application:
The material is suitable as a protective coating for untreated and painted surfaces, especially on the underbodies of motor vehicles, and also for repairing and topping up previous protective coatings. It is particularly suitable for repair work or touching up coatings in hard-to-reach places (e.g. joints, corners, edges, etc.) on the underbodies of motor vehicles, where corrosion most often forms.
Recommendation:
Do not apply the material to moving or heat-stressed components such as joints, engines, gearboxes, drive shafts, exhausts, catalytic converters and braking systems. The protective coating cannot be painted over.
