ASUS Splendid Video Intelligence

This technology optimises colour in various scenarios using five special modes – Standard, Game, Scenery, Night View and Theatre. It uses a Pixel Shader graphics processor to reduce the computational load of classical processors. As a result, you can enjoy pictures in Full HD resolution, using graphics cards from ASUS to fine-tune. 



 
This technology offers colour rendering and image optimisation using colour correction / brightness / contrast / sharpness and several pre-set modes, providing a true picture in all conditions. Splendid Video Intelligence Technology is based on a colour engine that automatically analyses and determines the conditions of the user's current subject, then adjusts it accordingly to the parameters of the display, ensuring the truest colour reproduction and image quality.

Colour rendering and image quality are optimised using the following functions:
  • Colour correction – automatic colour optimisation creating bright and vivid picture
  • Brightness and contrast – an optimised backlight helps bring out details in dark scenes
  • Field correction – highlights noticeable details, creating a sharper image

To ensure that you get maximum enjoyment from multimedia entertainment, Splendid Video Intelligence also offers five video preset modes (Cinema, Game, Nature, Night, Standard) and three preset skin tones (Natural, Reddish, Yellowish) to enable users to fine-tune the image to achieve the desired results.
